Banding Together is an organization there to contribute to the development and responsibility of the community by providing education, tutoring, HIV/AIDS information and testing and other holistic programs aimed to bring stability to the region. It is exciting to be up and running with the new site and we cannot wait to bring more information and ways to get involved with BANDING Together soon! Banding Together has come a long way in the past year, from a pair of guys, wanting to change the country of the Democratic Republic of CONGO, to an organization now planning 3 trips a year to this region, as well as sending small teams and individuals willing to donate time when they can!! The DRC is located in the heart of Africa, bordering some of the most unstable countries in Sub-saharan Africa including the Sudan, Uganda and Rwanda. These countries, among others, have been reached by western organizations, but the DRC has been left off the map, neglected by many in the West for many reasons. But that is not the case any longer. Banding Together is pleased to announce among others, our official Board of Directors, consisting of Joshua Bartel, Diane Grills, Skip Webb, Ashley Meyerhoffer and Drew Webb. As Banding Together continues to grow, we are excited to see this Board grow, both in depth and experience. Each brings a different field of expertise, from business and health care management, to African Cultural anthropology and Media. Each is dedicated to see the growth and difference that Banding Together is making.
