Horizon 3000: Head Doctor

Led by a man who has taken the initiative to change the community in which he lives, Dr Issidore BOMDJOBO began this center as an outreach. Having learned and practiced around the world, including South Africa and Belgium, Dr. BOMDJOBO practiced for over a decade in Kinshasa at the main hospital. Over time he began to understand the millions of people in his country that are unable to afford even the most basic of medical treatment and decided to do something about it. He opened Horizon 3000 as a free medical clinic, charging minimal fees to the community for treatment and testing, even taking gifts in place of payment, but from many, never receiving a penny for his services. In 2007 alone, Horizon 3000 treated over 3000 orphans, unable to pay for the services rendered, all due to the selfless kindness of Dr. BOMDJOBO and the health center he started years ago.
